An intimate collection of stories based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollection of the Ephrons' friends. This fun show is written by Nora and Delia Ephron who wrote Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail!, Julie & Julia, and many others. The play is in “Readers Theatre” format about women, clothes and memory, covering all the important subjects: mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses, mothers and why we only wear black. The memories trigger funny and often poignant stories that all can relate to.
