DESCRIPTION:The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce invites you to make plans to attend the breakfast meeting being held on Wednesday\, October 16\, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Marie Callender's\, 6950 Alvarado Road San Diego\, CA 92120. The speaker at this breakfast meeting is the new Fire Chief of Heartland Fire and Rescue\, Steve Swaney. The breakfast meeting is sponsored by Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World.\n\n\n\nWe encourage Chamber members and members of the public to attend and hear from our new Fire Chief of Heartland Fire and Rescue\, Steve Swaney. Chief Swaney joined our Fire Department in October 2018. Before becoming our Fire Chief\, he served Heartland Fire and Rescue in El Cajon since 1985. He most recently served as a Heartland Division Chief\, overseeing day-to-day operations of fire stations across the three cities of Lemon Grove\, La Mesa and El Cajon. He also served as the fire chief for the Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District and is a Federal Emergency Management Agency   certified canine evaluator.\n\n\n\nEnjoy a hearty breakfast of eggs benedict\, scrambled eggs\, bacon sausage\, potatoes\, fresh fruit\, coffee\, juice and more.
