DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, October 23rd First Financial Credit Union is celebrating the opening of their new La Mesa location at 5570 Lake Murray Boulevard. The celebration begins at 9 a.m. and goes until 5 p.m. that entire day. During the day food and refreshments will be served\, as well as raffles and Grand Opening specials will be offered. The La Mesa Chamber invites members of the community to join in this celebration and welcome First Financial Credit Union to our community.  The Chamber will host a ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. that day. We encourage you to join us and take a tour of the new office space and meet Jaclynn "Jackie" Carey and her team at their brand-new location in La Mesa.  \n\n \n\nIn the midst of the Great Depression in 1933\, First Financial was started by educators seeking a financial institution dedicated to their then under-served colleagues.  Over 85 years later\, they continue that same passionate mission of helping educational community members.    With a focus on member benefits\, earnings are returned to members through services like free ATMs\, better rates and lower fees. First Financial Credit Union exhibits their loyalty to the educational community year-round.  They offer grants to current and future teachers\, volunteer at schools and educational associations\, participate in fundraisers and charity events and provide scholarships for students.\n\n           \n\nBring your business cards to share and mix and mingle with other members and business owners\, as you sample light hors d'oeuvres and enjoy beverages that will be served during the open house.
