DESCRIPTION:La Mesa Village Flag Day Parade\n\n	Centennial 1912 - 2012\n\n	"A Salute to Old Glory - Celebrate America"\n\n	\n\n	 \n\n	The City of La Mesa's next Flag Day Parade will be held on Saturday\, June 2\, 2012 at 10 am. \n\n	On Saturday\, June 2 beginning at 9:00 am\, downtown La Mesa will dress up in red\, white and blue for the Annual Flag Day Parade\," A Salute to Old Glory! " Pre-parade entertainment from 9:00am to 10:00am\n\n	The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and marches through downtown La Mesa Village. Spectators will enjoy over 70 entries\, including marching bands\, floats and the Marine Corps Ensemble.\n\n	Two patriotic pre-parade concerts will begin the festivities from 9 am   10 am: La Mesa Middle School band will perform at La Mesa Blvd. and Palm Ave.\, and the Granger Middle School Jazz Band will perform at La Mesa Blvd. and Date Ave.\n\n	Spectators are encouraged to dress in patriotic attire and cheer on the participants in this annual parade.
