DESCRIPTION:The City of La Mesa will be presenting the Community Engagement Expo on Friday\, November 15th from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to this free event to learn about volunteer options for adults in East County. Visit with local volunteer organizations and enjoy a healthy continental breakfast. A representative from Sharp Health Care will be talking about social isolation and opportunities to get out and active in your community. \n\n \n\nScheduled vendors include Elder Help of San Diego\, San Diego County Sheriff SVP\, Meals on Wheels\, the City of La Mesa volunteer program\, Ride4Neighbors and Grossmont Healthcare District Senior Resource Center.  Free blood pressure screenings will be provided by Sharp Grossmont Hospital from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.  Be sure not to miss this event to become more involved\, engaged\, and to share your talents with your community. \n\n \n\nThis event will be held at the La Mesa Community Center\, located at 4975 Memorial Drive in La Mesa.
