DESCRIPTION:A ribbon cutting introducing the new Modern City playground will be held at La Mesita Park\, 8855 Dallas Street in La Mesa on Tuesday\, January 15 at 12:30 pm. \n\n\n\nThis Modern City playground is a showcase unit featuring a brand new line of playground equipment. The playground replacement was made possible through a donation from the La Mesa Park and Recreation Foundation\, GameTime\, and Great Western Recreation\, Inc. as part of the Foundation's "It's Child Play" campaign to renovate playgrounds in five La Mesa Parks. La Mesita is the fourth playground to be replaced.
