DESCRIPTION:Senior Holiday Project Main Page  \n\n\n\nMark Your Calendars Now to Assist Homebound Seniors This Year!\n\nJoin the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Make a Difference in the Lives of Seniors This Holiday Season\n\n\nWe encourage you to join us and make a difference in the lives of La Mesa homebound seniors. Each year the Chamber assists La Mesa homebound seniors. It is the goal of the Chamber to collect\, purchase and assemble items and place them in large gift baskets and gift bags. All these gift bags are delivered to the selected seniors by the La Mesa Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol. Due to delivery schedule\, the deadline to receive the gifts for our seniors is Friday\, November 29th. This will allow time to wrap all the items\, prepare all the gift baskets and purchase the items needed.\n\n\n\nYou may deliver your items to:\n\nThe La Mesa Chamber office: 8080 La Mesa Blvd.\, Suite 214\n\nMonday-Friday between 11 a.m. 3 p.m. to Fran Smith\n\n\n\nNOTE: Our office is up two flights of stairs   with no elevator. If you have canned goods and other heavy items\, please contact Mary England  (619) 251-7730 and we can arrange for your items to be picked up or meet you to transfer your items to us.
