La Mesa Oktoberfest 2012!
A tradition for our community is the annual Oktoberfest. This activity brings visitors and vendors from all over the region to La Mesa for a weekend dedicated to family, friends, great food and entertainment. The La Mesa Chamber has proudly partnered with the La Mesa Village Merchants Association, who began this popular event over 35 years ago. This event has gone from a small street fair to a 3-day festival with 400 vendors offering goods and services to over 186,000 attendees. Add great food, lots of children activities, entertainment and of course, good old German brats and cold beer, and you have a family event that has something for everyone!

The spaces on La Mesa Blvd are open from 11am-11:30pm Friday and Saturday, October 5th and 6th and Sunday October 7th, 12-5pm.
The spaces in the beer garden are open 4-11:30 Friday, 11-11:30 Saturday and 12-5 Sunday.
Priority will be on a first come first served basis with Chamber members having the first priority on space over a non-chamber member up until August 1. After August 1, Chamber members will have no priority on space location over non-members.
We will provide you with the space and electricity for about 720 watts. If you need more than this, please let us know how much. There is a charge if you need more and the charge is detailed out in the Food Vendor Application. You can figure out your watts and amps using the calculations on this link: http://www.powerstream.com/Amps-Watts.htm. Your equipment should state the number of volts, amps and watts.
We try to have our food vendors not duplicate items as much as possible but there could be some overlap.
The initial deadline to reserve your space is August 1. Your $200 deposit becomes non-refundable at that point. Full booth payment is due August 31.
