Join Us for a Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate the 106th Anniversary and Newly Remodeled Community Room at Erickson-Anderson Mortuary
We invite you to join Manager, Jared King and his staff, as we celebrate the 106th Anniversary of Erickson-Anderson Mortuary in La Mesa. We are planning a ribbon cutting and celebration on Wednesday, May 17th and will serve great food and beverages in the newly remodeled Community Room between the hours of 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. There is no cost for attending this unique celebration and ribbon cutting.
This business has a long history in La Mesa and was purchased by Fredrick Erickson in 1911 when it was the E. H. Stokes Funeral Parlor and changed the name to Erickson Mortuary. Enoch Anderson joined the firm in 1928 where the mortuary has been located since that year. Mr. Anderson served as the Mayor of La Mesa from 1948 to 1950, after serving two terms as a La Mesa Councilman.
