Join Us for An Evening Mixer at the Holiday Inn Express on Wednesday, November 18th Let’s Help Our Seniors & Celebrate the Holidays! The La Mesa Chamber invites you to join them for an evening mixer at the Holiday Inn Express in La Mesa on Wednesday, November 18th between the hours of 5:30 m- 7 p.m. Bring non-perishable cans of food, pasta, or toiletries in support of the Chamber’s La Mesa Homebound Senior Program. Each year the Chamber adopts La Mesa homebound seniors for the holidays in partnership with the La Mesa Police Department RSVP Program and others, to put a smile on the faces of our local seniors during the holiday season. We collect canned goods, toiletries, pasta, soups, vegetables, tissues, toothpaste, toothbrushes, notepads, pens and other items that are sure to put a smile on the faces of these wonderful seniors. The Holiday Inn Express is located at 8000 Parkway Drive, and their dining and reception area are perfect for our evening mixer being held November 18th between the hours of 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. For this special evening, the hotel plans to serve delicious refreshments to satisfy your cravings, including numerous beverage options – wine, beer and soft drinks to quench your thirst. If you desire a cup of fresh coffee, you will be able to serve yourself from a unique machine that grinds the beans for each cup of coffee served. This fun-filled evening is a great opportunity to relax, get together with members and friends and collect items for our La Mesa homebound seniors. The La Mesa Chamber will host a raffle and there will be other surprises. Be sure to make plans to join us and bring your business cards while you mix and mingle. Admission is complimentary to Chamber members bringing canned goods or any toiletry items, Non-Member guests $15 each and bring canned good or toiletries.
